They say that people are not ready for this yet. Are they?
Let Tunisia meet some string quartet music. This is my arrangement adding a string quartet commisioned by Amine and Hamza, very talented oud and kanun virtuosos, and nice folks when it comes to meeting them in person. We had some good time recording the album this track will be a part of, and I hope people will be ready to hear it when we will tour with the band :)
Who wouldn't want to improvise on the familiar theme from the video consoles?
:

Planuję rozwinąć taki projekt, który poszedłby dalej w kierunku integracji żywej elektroniki w mój system pracy. read more »
: Forest of gadgets by Nikola Kołodziejczyk
It's 5 AM and today I finished working on parts for the 25 piece band - Composer's Ensemble. It's time to play something to reset myself and concentrate on next assignments.

Live in Gorzów Theather by Storyboard with small string orchestra and my electronics.
First solo and credits by Adam Bałdych.
My spontaneus invention during a rehearsal of Bartek Pieszka Quartet. Rhythm section followed my music invitation.
Kind of a joke, really.
First, introducting moments of our concert in Hipnoza Jazz Club in Katowice. A free improv with Piotr Toruński

This is what happens when You join forces of Tunisian and European feel. A new rendition of the M'Raihi's song this time with my arrangement with added string quartet and piano.
:
A totally improvised set played while talking to friends about what piece I'm going to compose on top of this programming for the Nikola Kołodziejczyk Orchestra, and triggering and evolving the macros.
It's more a proof of concept that I can control MIDI sequences that solely affect parameters of effects applied to a sound by recording and looping dummy midi clips that i can trigger afterwards in a desirable place in a piece that is being developed in real time. The dummy midi clips then act as a kind of organic arpeggiator input that i can control very closely live.
More musical material is expected to be based on this bare track as i will add acoudtic drums, soprano saxophone, bass, flute, bass clarinet and vibraphone to this and a little of composition.
