A music that is taking the audience on a tour.

Nikola Kołodziejczyk Orchestra is my latest project created to take the music that accumulated in my head up to now for a walk. When I created the band I knew only one thing lineup-wise: no frontiers.
At first, having no less than 18 musicians (fattened string quartet, woodwind section with bass clarinet, live electronics, etc.) - now enthralling seven core members. Lineup is fluid because it's designed to work with my constantly change-demanding musical inquiries. I try to make use of classic musical principles with new concept of sound and rhythm - and the main goal is to make competent, sophisticated music that isn't complicated. A music that isn't fighting the audience, but is taking them on a tour.

And it works only because of the mastery of great individuals that agreed to help me deliver this sound.
Recently we recorded about 1.5h of music in the Polish Radio Katowice studio, and now it's being mixed (and remixed, the best part). The cards finally are on the table.
